Aloha from Hawaii Jack,

You must be fairly new to this list.

May I ask where you got your information from? "Most" of us on this list know that it's okay to use DW and coke bottles to store our home brewed good quality CS and that it does not have to be kept in the dark.

If you have the time, may I suggest browsing the following sites which offer very good, solid info on CS

www.silvermedicine.org/

www.silverpuppy.com

www.silvergen.com

Warmest Regards,
Helena

CS is also light sensitive so it should be stored in a colored glass bottle.
I used an empty prune bottle that holds about a quart that's how much I make
up each session and use out of that. Any colored glass bottle will do.

Light slowly takes the charge off of the silver particle in suspension
that's why you need to store it in colored glass bottles. The alternative
would be to store the solution in clear glass but keep it in the dark, like
a closet or medicine cabinet. I prefer the colored glass though just as an
extra measure of safety.

Jack

Do not store it in a metal container.
