Don't expect us to do all of the work. The wife have had nothing but a carbon block filter since about 1975. there is about a $250 price range -- since you live in a city that must have some form of water treatment, then you should find that a Counter Top model that attaches to the sink faucet and states that it filters down to 1 micron will probably meet the needs of most people. So now all that you have to do is log on to google.com, type in - counter top solid carbon block - water filters and spend some time reading - you should find something for less than $ 70 that will serve you well, and usually needs an annual replacement. I wouldn't be without ours ! It makes a big improvement in the taste also. Jack -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
