Hi Jay,
Thanks for the input.
I did what you suggested, and found lysine is rated most effective
against cold sores (recurrence prevention), moderately effective
against Genital Herpes, and least effective against Shingles:

You take cs, and you still need to take lysine.
I had shingles, but the cs I now make kills it, plus the cold sores.
So I don't think I need any extra lysine other than what I get from
a normal diet. I'll save my pennies and get more dw:)
