Dear Hank,
In all probability colloidal silver will not be of direct assistance in overcoming the particular insult you are addressing. However, I believe a course of Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) may offer some genuine value. Organized medicine has, to my knowledge, failure to isolate a single cause for this type of osseous deterioration . However, I believe that Diehl, et al, were successful in addressing hip dysplasia in experimental dog researches.....back in the early days of evaluating CMO (circa 1980s). If it was MY dog, I would start him, immediately, on 3 to 5 grams of CMO....daily.....for at least 20 days. Additionally, I would give him 4000 mg of Gluscosamine Sulphate and 2400 mg of Chondroitin Sulphate. Additionally, I would give him an initial dose of 300 mg vitamin B-6 and follow with 100 mg daily....for an extended period (30 days plus). There are other, less critical, things you could do (especially Kelp, at 1 tbsp daily---mixed thoroughly in his food), but these I consider critical.
                                The reasoning is quite simple....Wobbles
appears to be a disorder of continuing osseous wasting, together with the associated complications attending such. Logic seems to dictate that stopping this circumstance (CMO has displayed to have the capability to "turn off" the Renegade T-4 cells which appear to destroy "live tissue" in the articulating joints of the bodies of higher mammals) is paramount. Until and unless this is accomplished, the prognosis for halting the progression appears quite dim.
Dobermans and German Shepards seem to be most
prone to this insult.
If MY DOG was displaying evidence of pain, I would put
him on 2 heaping teaspoons, daily, of granulated alfalfa. We have enjoyed wonderful success with this protocol (for both pain and mobility), when utilized to address hip dysplasia......in our experimental researches. The effect upon unstable, pain-ridden sufferers has been.....in many cases.....simply miraculous.
                                Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.
