A drug detail man (rep) is a salesman/woman. Period. It may be different now, but in my day working for doctors, they were just people hired off the street for their sales ability, given a script, and sent out to sell product. I find it amazing that doctors with their years of expensive and difficult training, sit and eat up the sales pitches, while ignoring every bit of evidence (well, its anecdotal, you know) for something as beneficial and non-toxic as EIS. Boggles the mind. Perhaps they get subliminal "low sales resistance" training in med school? I know that was sarcastic, but it really does puzzle me, and is a very serious issue for doctors clients.
