Hi Heidrun, My first suggestion is don't SHOVE anything at a cat....to avoid the secondary needs of your CS.
Sounds like their may already be some history....and, your guy sounds like he may be a tough case ....but even on my toughest I do surprise 'attacks' until I get what I think is enough down her. (I used to have to board her at the vet's to get medicine down her!) The others, I let them know I'm coming and they politely put their faces up for the dropper and will take, at least one, if not two dropperfuls.
