Hi Don, We supply a 5 gallon FDA approved container with the generator. However one can use any vessel from a gallon to 50 gallons as long as the electrode assembly can sit above the water and have most of the electrodes surface in the water and also have the pump in the water for circulation. We test the units using a 1 gallon container to save on using so much DW. Since the unit shuts off when the desired PPM is reached, volume of water is not critical. It just takes longer with more volume but the rate of 2 gallons per hour at 5 PPM is still the same.
Hope this helps. I am curious because I need to locate a machine that will make many gallons at a time if possible? Thanks Don Wells Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.
