Igor,
If you want to alkalize your system, putting sugar in your water is probably
not a good idea. Microbes LOVE sugar! And the waste products of microbes are
acidic.

Try to get the lemon water down without the sugar. Stevia drops (sold in the
health food store) are a good substitute.
