Hi Leacy, The DMM is set to read DC current in milliamperes and is palced in sereis with one lead to the cell.
The initial reading is a very good measure of the quality of you DW. If you are using 14 oz,of DW and 2 #14 wires with about 5" wet and the constant voltage method then turn the system off at about 3 to 3.5 ma. You really need to stir for the best results.
