Way to go Smitty! My mom is only a few years younger and she stopped her few meds. But I now can't get her to supplement. She has continual scar tissue of the Esophagus and is afraid that it might get stuck. Her food choices even are very restrictive. The Esophagus diameter is less than that of a boney little finger. She went from a big woman to a skeleton because of being unable to really eat much of anything. My Father who was a Surgeon told me as a kid: "NEVER! Ever!
