For all those anti abortionists, I recognize its a horrible thing,
especially the closer to birth one gets. But life has a horrible aspect
to it. Moral indignation at potential human lives lost might end when
all of human sperm is cultured with all human eggs. Yes, the Church is
against birth control. How much good does it do to conflate eugenics
with birth control? Speaking of eugenics,
What is the ideal human population? I suggest human numbers should be
somewhat in line with other top predators of our size. We could be
considered herbivores/sometimes omnivores, like the other great apes, in
which case a balance with the other apes could be considered. But in
fact we are omni predators...our species exploits everything, including
our own kind, mercilessly. We raise animals for slaughter and smile
at the carnage as the charred carcass is brought to the table, like evil
aliens, straight out of a science fiction movie. At some point, the
anthropocentric megalomania must end and humility take its place.
A case can be made for reducing the obscenely dominant human population
toward something in line with other large animals that roam the planet.
Using vaccines as a killing agent is not suitable for the purpose. But
birth control, female emancipation and education is.
