Hmmm, I can see why Off Topic won't work here. There are many other Groups available to discuss different modalities regarding health Alternatives, but I can see it will rapidly bleed over into the Silver List. I was referring to exactly what you said Lola, quote: "Yes, the occasional political statement/observation makes it's way into the conversation but it rarely lasts very long and once in a while it really, really is pertinent." Eventually the List will be overrun and lose it's integrity.
If people wish to discuss other modalities, it should be done on those relevant "alternative" Groups or Platforms else the essence of the Silver List will lose its long standing relevance and position. Just my opinion. Yes, the occasional political statement/observation makes it's way into the conversation but it rarely lasts very long and once in a while it really, really is pertinent.. What does your momma say? Don't talk religion or politics socially. It is amazing the things I have picked up from various members in various groups and their willingness to share their experiences. As a three time cancer survivor, my eyes are always open and my ear to the ground, eagerly waiting to hear about the latest research and/or findings. And I do like alternatives that have some solid science behind them because it is the wild, wild west 'out there' and you have to be careful, smart and always do your due diligence and homework.
