Prill beads are just magnesium oxide beads.  They may add some magnesium to the
water, but not do much else.  If you want magnesium, add some magnesium
chloride drops to your water.  Don't waste your money. Basically, they won't
clean or detox anything.
Chlorine will outgas from the water overnight if left uncovered. You can also
aerate it or bring it to a boil to remove the chlorine. Charcoal filter systems
should remove chlorine, but reverse osmosis systems must have a chlorine
removing filter to protect the RO membrane, so RO water is probably good.
Chloramine is more difficult to remove.  There are some aquarium water
treatments that remove the chloramine and the resultant ammonia.  Some say that
ascorbic acid (vitamin C) will remove chlorine and chloramine.  The ammonia is
not really a problem for humans and many foods will neutralize it.

If you can get past the statement that the EPA believes chlorinated water to be
safe to drink, this article gives a lot of information about chlorine and
chloramide in water.

Some aquarium water treatments contain sodium thiosulfate which can remove both
chlorine and chloramine.  Some people advocate taking sodium thiosulfate orally
as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger...
Check with your local water treatment plant and find out what sort of chlorine
they use.  They should be able to provide that info for you.

Jean I have just gone and researched this filter or jug designed to filter
chlorine etc., (Turapur) from tap water - without trying it, I cannot say
anything good or bad, except that if it works let me know,  because as far as I
am aware the only thing which will remove chlorine from water is distillation.
However my knowledge base may be outdated, have you ever tried the prill beads
this is what I use if I cannot be bothered to distil the water which as you
know removes everything out of the water, that is the good, bad and
indifferent, that is the only way to get a 0000 reading on water which is used
for kidney dialysis as far as I know, however I am happy to be updated
