Hi Ode,This was a test I was taught for mercury in the body also, Ode. Drop a
copper penny in a cup of urine and wait 10-15 minutes and if there is any
mercury toxicity the mercury will plate on the copper. If I hadn't seen it I

So long as the dog goes ahead and drinks the silver water, no problem.
But if it stays in the bowl, the silver will likely plate out.
I don't know what nickel,iron and chrome does, but I do know that copper will
pull every smidgeon of silver out and drop it to the bottom
