If your generator has 2 switches on top and/or the LED changes from green to red and back, [SWAP] it will do just fine without a stirrer making quart batches or smaller.
Sorry, I can't get the parts to fix an old mirror top 120 volt stirrer that plugs into the wall. A DC mirror top with a power out cord to run the gen, I have some somewhat noisy motors left and I'd be glad to do what I can for a $20 bill to cover parts and return postage. A new one: https://silverpuppy.com/product/products/magnetically-coupled-stirrer But look at the label on your wall power supply and make sure it is 24 volt DC output [the really old ones were 24 volt AC]...or you'll need: https://silverpuppy.com/product/products/replacement-wall-power-supply On Mon, Nov 21, 2016 at 12:24 PM, Lena Guyot <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Ode, > > My beloved SilverPuppy has served me long and well, but now its rotating > magnetic bottom began growling and then I noticed the inside stirrer in the > CS was turning fitfully, or not at all. > Bruce unscrewed the mirror top of the base to investigate, hoping it might > be a matter of lubrication, but the motor shaft seems not to even be > reliably attached the magnet-bearing washer and he can't figure out how it > was put together. > Can you advise, or let me know what a new base would cost?
