Hi Lena,
Thanks for the information but I'm a simple bloke and bumble on in my own way
as I am not familiar with all the other stuff. There's only one way to find
out things, and that's to be either a guinea pig oneself or jump at the
opportunity with someone else who is willing.
Stress and thoughts...Well, can't say too much in public but there are issues
in that regard which are currently being worked on.

I got bashed from some {not from this List though} for my treatment of our son
years ago in relation to PHN but he has never had that since his recovery, well
not to my knowledge anyway. I also made a fresh batch for each administration
with him too, not so now, this time I'm using EIS that I have always got in
storage - less Ag+ ion content and more particle content, and I have been
spraying it on affected areas. It was easy with our son because he got it on
the head and down the neck, bit more difficult this time because it's on the
body under clothing, and I don't particularly want to put a covering over the
areas. The blisters are dry.
I am a little annoyed though that I did not make EIS for the first two days
using rainwater. See, that's how easy it is to get sucked in by all the
reading regarding particular water, doubts begin to creep in, I must continue
to stand firm in my beliefs and not be swayed <g>.
Immune system...I've been ingesting a small quantity of my EIS every morning
before breakfast for around 10 years now and my other half decided to do
similar a few years ago. I will say however that the 'stress' issue has been
long standing which resulted in a few breakdowns in later life.
I fixed toenail fungus with EIS too, which everyone else said was BS {again,
not from this List} but it fixed it.
This List is the only place I can put any faith in for educational information.
Thanks for the suggestions though, kind of you.
And Thanks to Nenah as well of course.
N.

Hi Neville,I had a nasty bout of shingles and PHN (post herpetic neuralgia)
last fall. There's a whole thread with great info over at the lymestrategies
group. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/lymestrategies/It might be worth
joining just to check the archives.
Here's what I remember off the top of my head:
L-Lysine helps a lot! I'm taking it permanently now, and once in a while if I
feel even a trace of the old itch I double it. Many shingles veterans do this.
Avoid legumes for a while, though, because as high as they are in L-Lysine,
they're also high in L-argenine, which herpes zoster LOVES. You want to reduce
that.I drank a few 1oz doses of CS per day.I misted several things on my
back:diluted Hydrogen peroxide,CS,dissolved neurontin in vodka ( or use very
high proof alcohol) Seemed to help the nerve pain.Used in rotation they killed
some of the pathogens and helped speed up the blisters to drying out.
Do whatever you can to reduce stress or even stressful thoughts, as shingles
feeds on that.
CVS makes a cooling pad that draws heat from the body.(you don't have to
refrigerate it.) I got two to keep in rotation and that helped a lot.
When I remember anything else, I'll post. You really don't want PHN to set in,
as that can become a chronic and make life simply not worth living. Do whatever
you can to boost the immune system to fight that.
Be well,Léna
