I¹ve used PayPal for years and this has never happened to me. You can
become Œverified¹ if you want, but its not compulsory. I much prefer to use
PayPal as I don¹t have to keep putting in credit card details. dee

Yes -- but..................

Paypal has a policy where once you reach a ceiling of ten thousand dollars
having been spent through Paypal -- even though they are servicing your own
credit card -- they require you to *confirm* your identity by providing them
with your bank account numbers.

That's not happening! And I'm close to their arbitrary limit (having used
Paypal for years for Ebay and other online purchases) -- so I don't know how
I'm going to conduct business in the near future.

Paypal has no business asking for my banking information since they are not
lending me money. They are performing a for-fee service. So -- be careful
out there.
