Perhaps the imagination gets a little carried away with looking for answers to a question that doesn't exist? It must get tiresome constantly looking for something to blame for every little emotion or ailment we experience. Positive thinking would help.... ----------------------------------------------------------- Deborah wrote:...I bust my ass trying to take care of myself and that is with a creative and positive attitude!! I cannot stand being laid up and feeling drained and achey. I am looking for answers...you call this response of yours "positive"? It's nothing more than a insult and an attack. ----------------------------------------------------------- Debbie, that's a great observation you made about the solar flares. Two days ago I was feeling more fatigued than I remember feeling in a long time. I didn't understand why I felt that way, but your observation helped clarify a few things for me. Here's a good definition of a solar flare from NASA (http://hesperia.gsfc.nasa.gov/sftheory/flare.htm): "A flare is defined as a sudden, rapid, and intense variation in brightness. A solar flare occurs when magnetic energy that has built up in the solar atmosphere is suddenly released. Radiation is emitted across virtually the entire electromagnetic spectrum, from radio waves at the long wavelength end, through optical emission to x-rays and gamma rays at the short wavelength end. The amount of energy released is the equivalent of millions of 100-megaton hydrogen bombs exploding at the same time!" Humans, animals and even plants are affected by all kinds of EM fields (note various reports of activity during the full moon), including the sun's field. Of course people who are sensitive will notice intense changes in the atmosphere, including the changes that flares can induce. The sinuses of humans contain magnetite, our nervous systems run on minute amounts of electrical current, and each cell and tissue has an EM charge. Of course we'd be affected by the much larger heavenly bodies! I have noticed that various EM, electrical and magnetic fields have been shifting a lot lately-not only from my own responses and the responses of my animals, but also from the erratic ways in which some of my electronic devices (like my computer) have been behaving. On a more personal note regarding relationships: I think it's the compassionate thing to do to put oneself in someone else's shoes. It's tempting to judge others, but how many of us can simply allow others to be where they are? Also, what makes us qualified to judge others? (Besides, its VERY difficult to determine what's happening from one small email post!) There's a saying about assumptions, "Assuming something about someone else makes an ASS out of U and ME." Magnets might help, although I'm not sure if during these times, various EM, electrical, magnetic, color, LED etc. devices would alleviate problems or add to them. I guess it's very individual. One simple therapy I find helpful is a salt and soda bath. One cup of sea salt to one cup of baking soda in moderately hot water, followed by a cool or warm shower. The bath is detoxifying and helps rebalance one's EM field. The cool shower is important because still water steals life-giving electrons from the body, while moving water adds electrons to the system.
