We achieved EXCELLENT positive response via the addition of one teaspoon of amorphous (plain agricultural grade) diatomaceous earth (for its high silica content); plus approximately 1800 mg bromelain (divided into two doses)... taken at least 30 minutes before or after a meal. Bromelain yielded excellent control on painful swelling presentations. Additionally, serrapeptase enzyme at 200 mg (approximately 120,000 units) divided into two doses....yielded very positive in controlling the adverse effects of fibrin and Bradykinin. Satisfactory results were often maintained after 5 days....even when the bromelain was reduced to around 1000 mg and the serrapeptase to 100 mg (60,000 units).......daily. While one may obtain commercial-type formulations (e.g. Arthro-zyme) containing bromelain and serrapeptase, most are rather pricey....for the typical citizen.
