Hi PT,
I've used it when my eyes are really dry and red. Just before going to
sleep, as it will put a film on the eyes and make sight blurry, but
they'll wake in the morning feeling very refreshed. Some say it can
help with cataracts, but not sure if that's true. VCO is
antibacterial, antimicrobial and if I remember correctly, antifungal.
Good stuff! I use it on my skin and as a lubricant for CEs.
I also use only VCO in the kitchen now, as it's a high temp oil that
doesn't break down into bad stuff when grilling, frying. It's a great
substitute for butter in baking recipes, and also, sprinkled with sea
salt, delicious on toast.
AND, it feeds the starving brain cells of Alzheimer's patients (which
can't process glucose well but can process the lipids of VCO). I try
to consume 3 Tbs. a day for my Lyme brain.

I've heard of virgin coconut oil for the eyes. Have used it myself for
good results, but flaxseed? Hmmm.
