Hi ZZekelink, you said.. <Hi Gwlynda, The soap we are using is made from Soap nuts...The ingredients are----olive oil---coconut oil--water--- saponin from soap nuts & glycerine... it is a bar soap.> I thought glycerine was not ideal for bar soaps that are to be used for the teeth? Paul Hi Paul, I was hoping Brooks might comment on that. I know he is very busy.. On the pages I copied--"Ref. 4 Teeth reenamelize when clean. To make teeth clean one brushes with any bar soap. Soap washes off in just two rinses. '' Glycerine in all tooth pastes is so sticky that it takes at least 27 washes to get it off. Teeth brushed with any tooth paste are coated with a film and cannot properly reenamelize. " I know many bar soaps have glycerine in them. I wondered if what ever else is in the soap cuts the glycerine...There wasn't a mention of using Baking Soda with the bar soap..That is just something I have done for a long time & continue to do...Lois
