My doc made me take methylcobalmin, the sublingual form of B-12 by Jarrows.

I actually don't know the taste of the sauerkraut, it was my hubby who drank 
the juice and we discarded the cabbage.  He made horrible facial expressions so 
i guess the taste of the pineapple did not matter. I believe the pineapple was 
to speed up fermentation due to its high sugar content.
