According to Mercola, Pepperidge Farm does not use bromine in their bread.

That is not universally true. When I purchase bread products I still have to
read labels closely as many commercially sold breads here DO still use
iodate dough conditioners. These are usually the "artisan" type breads, but
not always.

It is also possible to purchase non-bromated flours and bake one's own.
