I have heard of MSM drops and several of the things in this article
(below), but don't know which would actually be effective.
I thought someone on the list had eyedrops that would help. Chuck
King posted his formula recently.

Preventative Cure For Eye Floaters

FlYou may ask what removes eye floaters. The answer is that there are
several options that you can use to remove eye floaters and to help
prevent them from developing.
There are surgical options for severe cases, as well as non surgical
and natural health options available.

Surgical Options

Vitrectomy

tiny incisions are made and “microsurgical” instruments remove scar
tissue, and clear blood and debris from the eye. This is rarely done
alone, and is often a part of the surgical procedure commonly used to
repair a detached retina.

Conventional LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis)

correcting vision impairment by having laser eye surgery has been
known to minimize the appearance of eye floaters. The conventional, or
basic, surgery involves a procedure in which a flap of corneal tissue
is created with a mechanical knife called the microkeratome. The laser
energy is then applied to the cornea underneath the flap. The flap is
then replaced to cover the area that has been reshaped by the laser.
LASIK is FDA approved to treat farsightedness (hyperopia),
nearsightedness (myopia), and astigmatism.

Keep in mind that there are many types of laser eye surgery, and only
a doctor can determine if you are a good candidate for surgery.

Non-Surgical Options

Hypnosis

this has been used to treat floaters, but it is recommended that you
find a licensed hypno-therapist that has experience in this area.

Micro Current Stimulator

this machine is used to stimulate specific acupuncture points (BL1,
KI6, LV3, LV14, LI4 and Tai Yang). You can purchase the stimulator
online and the device comes with instructions.

Ancient Chinese Solutions

such as acupuncture and accu-pressure have been found to have some
benefits for the treatment of eye floaters.

Antioxidant Eye Supplements

have been commonly used for decades in order to reverse eye floaters,
they can be purchased online, or at health food stores.

Herbal Treatments And Dietary Supplements

MSM Drops (methylsulfonylmethane)

helps to remove eye floaters by easing the passage of nutrients though
optical tissue. MSM is a sulfur compound that the adrenal glands
naturally produce and that can be found in most fruits, vegetables and
grains.

Serrapeptase Enzyme

this enzyme is uses to clear out the eye by digesting debris, blood
clots and dead tissue.

Taurine

this is an antioxidant that stimulates the body to rid itself of waste
‘by-products” that accumulate in the eye.

Magnesium, Vitamin A, DHA, and Selenium

these are all linked to improving vision and supporting eye health.

Lutein and Zeaxanthin

these are “free-radical” scavengers, and also help to filter light to the eye. .

Gingko, Lysine and Bilberry

promotes blood flow to the vessels in the eye.

Other supplements

Bupleurem, White Peony, Tree Peony, Dong Guai, Poria, Atractylodes,
Ginger, Gardenia, Licorice, Coleus, Milk Thistle, Dandelion, Eyebright
and Hoelen are all associated with promoting eye health and healing
vision conditions including eye floaters.

Nutrition and Lifestyle

Eat brown rice instead of white rice
Limit sodium intake
Eat plenty of fresh vegetables
Avoid deep fried food
Avoid dairy products
Avoid red meat and poultry
Avoid eating tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and potatoes because of
their toxin forming properties
Eat fish
Eat nuts, seeds and whole grains
Drink 8 glasses of water a day to help flush the kidneys

Final Words About Eye Floaters

The majority of floaters in the eye are harmless, considered to be a
natural part of the aging process and will resolve themselves without
requiring any treatment. A cure for eye floaters is available through
a variety of non surgical, dietary, nutritional and lifestyle options.
In rare cases, eye floaters can be a sign of more serious problems and
you should consult your physician to schedule an appointment and
determine what surgical options may be available to treat floaters in
the eye.
