If it were the result of wearing of aluminum parts then it would be
aluminum metal and aluminum oxide. I have already tested for both of
those and they came up negative.

Back to Sodium Bicarbonate for a minute...
Another point about Arm & Hammer Sodium Bicarbonate. The aluminum
we've been discussing as a possibility of being in their sodium
bicarbonate is NOT purposely added to the sodium bicarbonate, it's a
result of the manufacturing process... For example, If you purchase
steel cut oats, the blades that cut the oats become dull after a while
from continually cutting the oats. Why? Because the steel is
continually worn down and because of that very minuscule parts of the
steel get into the product. One of the reasons I purchase stone
ground oats. Stone has usually harmless minerals. End of story....

But just 6 drops in a cup of water and swallowed, can cure most

Lugol's, as i understand it, is food grade and a couple drops
under the tongue maintains thyroid efficiency.

I would think so but, their potency might not be the same as
what is used in Lugol's. Also Iodide Crystals are used to make
Iodine, along with Iodine Crystals, and Distilled water.
Lugol's is made by 2 1/2 % Iodine, 2 1/2 Iodide, and 95%
Distilled water. Total about 5% Iodine in Lugol's Iodine.

Tel,
There are iodine crystals that are sold on ebay. Is that the
same as one of the iodines used in Lugols?

If you keep it in a cool place, in a sealed glass bottle, it
should be good for at least a year or so. You may need to
shake it up to combine the only 3 things in Lugol's Iodine.
*Iodine & Iodide with the distilled water,* if it had separated.
