Dorothy,
Your DW should not show a Tyndall effect.  Possibly in a completely dark
room you might see a very faint laser beam, but it will be orders of
magnitude fainter than what you see in a properly prepared CS product.  Your
distiller must be producing impure water.

just thought I'd report a strange  occurrence i.e. I used my lazer pen  
on a jar of DW I just made, and it had the tyndall effect!  That is,  
it had a strong red line across it.  I thought this only happened
