I read somewhere that you shouldn't take Serrapeptase with other proteases, but I note that most manufacturers put them together. dee

Remember that there can be more than one cause for high blood pressure. It can be genetic. It can be a problem with hormones, such as excessive adrenaline production (or anxiety). As far as I know the only cause which serrapeptase will help is one in which the veins and arteries are becoming blocked with plaque and cholesterol buildup. It is quite possible that your pipes are clean, and that the blood pressure is from something else. I am now taking one Doctor's Best 40,000 a day. Up until about a few days ago I was taking SerraGold 100,000 (2 a day for 3 weeks, then dropped to one a day for a week, then transferred to the less expensive Doctor's Best). My wife is still taking the 1 a day of SerraGold though. According to some sources the SerraGold and others which are not coated are only 50% effective, so if that is true, I would have been getting the equivalent of only 50,000 per capsule of coated. SerraGold also contained 80,000 units of Protease, which could have maybe had an effect as well, I really don't know.
