I realized a few days ago that the DMSO I've been working with was only 70%
with 30% distilled water, purchased earlier this year in a natural food store
for $19.00 for 8oz, made by "Nature's Gift"

Yesterday, I purchased a pint of DMSO taht has no brand on the bottle, just
"packaged in Lexington, SC". Label has the usual warnings "use as a sovlvent
only", etc and reads 99.85% Dimethylsulfoxide. The cost was $8.00.

I placed in the fridge overnight and this morning it was frozen solid. No
liquid would pour out at all. If I am remembering, this is the way to seperate
the very pure DMSO. The bottle has sat on my counter 12 hours in a room that
the temp is around 67 degrees. The contents are still about 75% frozen.

Can anyone tell me what's going on here? Why it hasn't thawed, and should I
even use this (it's for my cat's nebulizer with EIS). The fact there is no
company to even contact about the product is unsettling.
Thanks, Lin
