Looks like I have a successful batch of Lip.Encap. C. Very little foaming when tested. Took 3 tries, but using the shaking of the lethicin in a jar rather than stirring seemed to do the trick. I haven't read any posts about how to tell when the batch might no longer be any good. Posts said, on a shelf it will keep a few days, in the fridge much longer. How do we tell when it's time to start with a new batch?
Someone mentioned hesitation on mixing this with CS. Any further thoughts on that? Does anyone have any suggestions on using this topically? We make cs soap for "troubled skin" and are curious if there would be added benefits adding this vit c to that, or using in other topical ways. Also, I'm part of a feline shelter and hope that this will be helpful with healing there. Several receive nebulizing treatments each day. Might it help to nebulize the c? Last question... When we make a batch that is low on encapsulating...is there anything useful to do with that batch? I hate to throw this stuff out. Thank you, Lin
