One vessel is Silver ions Ag [+]
The other is Hydroxyl anions OH [-] aka "Alkaline Water" Described in
Science as having a bitter flavor when in higher concentrations..also a
brownish appearance when very highly concentrated.
[ Kagan water makers claim it to de-bitter foods which may be true by
neutralizing acids]
It's very hard to find the references as they are buried under tons of
sales claims for Alkaline water machines that state the opposite. This is
as close as I could get this time around...

HNO3 H+ (aq) + NO-(aq)
Are electrolytes.
Have a sour taste.
Corrode metals.
The H+ ion produced by an acid in water does not exist in isolation. It is
bonded to a water molecule:
H+ + H2O H3O+
H3O+ is called the hydronium ion.
Arrhenius bases
Produce OH- ions in water.
Taste bitter or chalky.
Are electrolytes.
Feel soapy and slippery.
*************************************************
OH- is called a Hydroxl or Hydroxy...a Free Radical Oxidizer claimed to be
an antioxidant ..which might be true if it encounters another free radical
due to Oxygen in single atoms very much wanting to form O2 molecules...in
which case, [if true] would release Oxygen as claimed, giving that claimed
"energy boost" feeling.
The container high in OH- anions doesn't obviously react with H2O2 [
another Radical Oxidizer ], but 2] OH- + H2O2 might form H2O + H2 + 2]
O2, both gases that may dissolve into the water and not be apparent as
bubbles unless the water is cooled down.
The container high in Ag+ ions reacts violently with H2O2, turning brown
in color as the H2O2 makes AgO [silver oxide] and water [obvious reaction]
H2O2 in fresh EIS displays this reaction as well.
After a while it doesn't.....................
I previously thought that was because the Silver ions were being protected
from oxidation by H2O2 by water molecules..but now not so certain as it
would appear that the Hydroxl ion has a higher affinity for water than
Silver ions and H2O2 might also have a higher affinity for the Hydroxls AND
water, than for Silver ions.
What "metallic" Silver [as colloidal sized nano-particles] does with
H2O2 is yet ANOTHER story of *catalysts*...and some are present in EIS..and
how THEY form is yet another story again...maybe having to do with the
capacitive qualities of glass and how metallic glass alloys with silicon
can serve as solar cells to convert photons and RF radiation into electrons
for Silver Ions to pick up and become metallic. Where, in high enough
concentrations in the right place, can turn the container into a
"mirror". ie "plate out"
..................but does discombobulate Silver Oxides in the water
which may be serving as crystal nuclei, thus breaking larger particles
apart by scavenging the Oxide nucleus out of the crystal and clearing out
pigment color at the same time [H2O2 will clean a Silver Oxide blackened
electrode almost instantly]...and..since the particles have been reduced to
smaller ones, any color from light scattering will be gone too. [Aslo
clears the color out of Green, Violet and Reddish EIS\CS ]
So much why depends on where, how much and when...
..all very confusing, ey?
OK
So one container reacted violently with H2O2 and had no flavor = Silver
ions [flavor or not]
The other "showed" no reaction with H2O2, had zero exposure to Silver [ I
cheated and did something *quick and dirty* other than use a filter ] and
it had a decidedly bitter flavor = Don't really know why or exactly *all*
of what was in that container other than OH [-] anions...may have been
quite a few Hydronium [H3O + ] ions in there too.
BUT, since EIS being a combination and bitter was something in common
with both EIS and the non Silver container..and...with the exclusion of
flavor in the Silver Ion container, a reasonable logical assumption was
made that the "Silver" has no flavor of its own regardless of why the other
container did have a very strong flavor.
As per the original topic line "Vit C and CS and flavor" Citric Acid and
Silver ions will make a highly soluble Silver Citrate solution....don't
know what that tastes like or why, but the acid should neutralize any OH-
anions quite fast.
Citric Acid is is C6H8O7 ..nothing there but Carbon, Oxygen and Hydrogen.
Silver Carbonate is NOT very soluble and can mostly be excluded as a major
factor.
Experimenting with Silver Carbonate and Acetic acid CH2O [white
Vinegar..also nothing there but Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxygen]... 'nother
story of a photo reactive "milk" gone crystal clear with no TE...derived
from info gleaned from the potters glazing industry to prove that using
Baking Soda as a "starter" does, in fact, produce Silver Carbonate
regardless of what Bruce Marx http://www.csprosystems.com/
claims in his attempts to make a timer actually "work" to predict anything
at all, by buffering the water.
..if it smells of things left out, it's probably BS.
" I dunno" is always legit.
And If you are confused, well..... join the club of truth "seekers"
If you are certain, you just stopped looking, is all.
Life is an experiment, results inconclusive.

Hi Folks,
Are there any negative effects to taking CS simultaneous with vitamin

Since acquiring Lyme, my mental processes have slowed considerably.
The discussion of the taste of VS was at least several days ago, very
informative. But only now has the topic settled into my mind. Some of
us say we can taste silver. One of us says if we generate our cs
with 2 vessels connected by the appropriate filter, we will be able
to taste the cs in one vessel but not the other. Is this
approximately correct? If yes, whats in each of the vessels? Does one
of the vessels contains ionic & one elemental? Which do we taste?
If you respond promptly, I will have more questions in a few days. :)
Thanks in advance...
