Have you try living clay? brush it and packed with it over your troubled gums area daily. It has done wonder for my teeth/gums so does for my friend's trouble gums. Sometimes I did CS/DMSO. However, I prefer clay for daily maintenance. Helen

It depends on how deep the pocket is for how long you'll keep the tooth... only so much gum can be removed. I delayed tooth loss for years by injecting hydrogen-peroxide or CS into the pockets using injection devices such as those sold by Oratec, but, have lost nine teeth, so far, as I got tired of dealing with it.
