My cousin was facing the same possible surgery. She started using olive oil
with oregano oil mixed in on a cotton ball at night and hers are getting
better. I forget who posted this on line but it really does help. You have to
be careful with the oregano because it is hot, some people have to mix it
lighter. I personally mix about 2tbsp olive oil with 4 or 5 drops of oregano
essential oil. Use part of a cotton ball soaked in the solution and put
between gum and teeth and leave overnight.

She is in for pure misery. And it doesn't guarantee that she'll save her
teeth, or that she won't have to have it done again. My brother had that done
-- he said that if he had to do it again, he'd shoot himself. Your sister
could at least try using a water pik with CS, brushing and flossing followed by
Hydrogen Peroxide mouthwash (miserable stuff, HP, but effective). She can
always resort to that surgery later if the above doesn't work. MA

Does anyone know about this surgery or has had it done.
My sister is scheduled for this surgery and Im telling her that is the last
option.
I think swissing CS and zapping would do more or at least give it a chance, its
a 4 hour surgery.

TIA
