Please use only the purest water. I use water that is 'deionized' instead of distilled. The ohm reading is 1,000,000 which I believe takes this water quality up to >0.5 ppm
Always be wary of adding anything to your water before making your CS. If anything at all, I would only add a bit of a previously made batch if you want to speed the process up some.
