Sterling silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Argentium Silver is sterling, but contains germanium in place of the copper. Has anyone considered making CS with Argentium Silver? My understanding is that ionic germanium is quite good for you. At the voltages we use would you even get ionic germanium or would the germanium drop off the electrode as a sediment? Could the germanium prevent the silver from going into solution? Any ideas on this? - Steve N
