What brand RO system? Is it hooked into your whole house water or just one faucet?
Thanks,

My own relatively cheap R.O. unit with a DI cartridge produces water
reading less than two tenths of a Micro-Siemens conductivity and I
replace the filters at a cost of less than $30, once every two years;
not when product indicates a need to, I do it just as a precaution. The
system yields about 50 gallons U.S. per day at max., which is way more
than I need for my modest CS making and personal consumption.
