Yes it is prescription only...called a medical food by the FDA. It is only a
vitamin...vit B9...love that B9 "benign" ha. It is L Methylfolate. You can
google Deplin, or CerefoliNAC, but there's more info under Deplin. And lots
onder L Methylfolate. I'm very happy on it. My colesterol went down 50 pts in 2
weeks, and no one even said it would do that! Just was having mine checked. MD
was blown away. She'd tried to get me on statins for 2 yrs. We tried one and it
raised my liver enzymes. I wouldn't try others. It lowers homosystein...I can't
remember what all, but balances everything in the body. Oh and heals neurons in
the brain. You'll find they are using it for Alzheimers now with success, but
haven't come out with the studies on other diseases yet. A Dr. here is doing
one with Fibro patients here now. I can't wait to see what happens. I just know
I woke up feeling good for the second day in a row now! Had one good day, then
a few more toxic feeling days (herx) and now 2 good days. Thank You God!!!

Is this a prescription only product? I did a quick search for
"Activated Folate" on Google, but did not find anything which seemed
applicable.
