Hi. I'm glad that you're feeling a bit better, and understand your dilemna. I sympathize with your feelings of not wanting to lose a tooth -- but it seems to me the tooth is already lost. If it were I, I would have the tooth pulled and be done with these issues of pain and infection. Particularly, if you have a healthy tooth on either side of the infected one, which can support a bridge to replace the missing tooth. Which brings me to my question -- why would you have to have a removable partial? I lost a molar on my lower right, and have a permanent bridge to replace it. This has never caused me any problems or discomfort, so I don't understand the "constant cleaning and degradation of the jaw bone". I did have to take antibiotics prior to the tooth extraction, as I'm sure you would. And I suspect that the ligament and bone scraping are probably contingent upon the amount of infection that your dentist would find. All of the toxic effects that you are worried about affecting your health protocol against Lyme don't hold a candle to the toxic effect of an ongoing tooth and possible bone infection. Even an otherwise healthy body would have serious trouble dealing with that -- and yours is already doing battle with a difficult foe. I think you would be doing your body a favor by resolving this in the fastest possible manner. This is just my very humble opinion -- and the one that I would make for myself. Whichever way you decide to go, I wish you good health. Mary Ann

The irritation and constant cleaning and degradation of the jaw bone are issues. And I'm told the ligament and scraping of the bone would be necessary. My daughter had this recently after an infected impacted wisdom tooth and it was a nightmare. Both are permanent and finalities. The toxic effects of radiation, aneshesia, pain killers, antibiotics, toxic dental materials are all against my health protocol to beat this lyme disease.
