I totally empathize with your pain. I have been told that root canals
are dead teeth and will regrow bacteria in the closed environment and
cause disease and possibly heart issues. This tooth that has 2 fillings
had a breech form the temporary that caused the bacteria to enter the
pulp and nerve and Sue enormous gum pain to the other teeth. Even by a
miracle if I can heal the tooth I won't be able to eat on that side
because food gets trapped constantly by the gum line. I would need a
cap if I can save it but then again I would susceptible to regrowing
bacteria in there again after capping. I 've heard of teeth rebuilding
but can't imagine how that happens. My dentist says removal and
temporary appliance are the only healthy options. I don't know what to
do.

Not really what you want to hear: A root canal followed by a crown.
Been
there, done that. Tried for over a year to save two abcessed teeth to
no
avail. Finally they started to affect other teeth and I had to have
four -
yes four 4 root canals done within a week. Within a few days of the
work,
the infection cleared up with antibiotics. Still have to get the crowns
done
and possibly a bridge.

I am suffering from constant severe tooth pain in a compromised upper
right molar. A temporary was put in a couple years ago due to nerve
pain
when filling. i was frugal in flossing between the molar because
