People have posted about a book, "Transdermal Magnesium Therapy," by Mark Sircus, Ac., OMD, I think on this forum, or maybe another one. His point is that minerals must be turned into a chloride form in the stomach by combining with stomach acid, Hydrogen Chloride, in order to be absorbed into the body in the intestines. So the oxide form is the cheapest one and least easy to assimilate, plus when a lot of stomach acid is required for minerals it uses it up and older people may not make enough so absorb minerals less as they grow older. I got some Alta MgCl tablets and found them rather reactive, when put into a bottle with other pills for a daily dose of supplements, so I would like to think other chelated forms would be good but don't know. I got powdered Mg glycinate and the taste is rather unpleasant.

Sircus also likes to bypass digestion and use the Magnesium Chloride (MgCl) on the skin. I haven't read the book myself, just what I could gather from websites. Has anyone tried using MgCl on malignancies and to what effect?
