Well, how am I, who started this topic, going to remain in the middle of the
road now?
See .. it is hard to believe that we are here just here now, for a few years,
we work, we do our best, we serve our neighbors - and then we go to a dark,
cold place without sound and light and emotions.
We are told by mainstream religion that we should not meddle in the
‘afterlife’. Of course we should not .. the mission of the souls who are
physically ‘dead’ is accomplished, and they should be left in peace.
Yet: there are far too many hints, dreams, philosophies, messages and ‘proofs’
that there is ‘something’ after this life-under-the-moon as we say in Dutch. (I
am NOT a spiritist!)

Of course we should – indeed we MUST! Indeed, we are here to serve. There is
far too much service to be done, to go on ‘..living [is] easy with eyes
closed..’ as John and Paul Beatle once wrote. And don’t give me that of
‘..suffering and poverty on earth .. go through it, for beyond you will be well
rewarded.. please. That’s mainstream religion keeping you and me and all who
want to go on believing it in slavery. Not God, not Jesus Christ, not Muhammad,
not even Gautama Buddha meant it that way.
God is Love? A loving God does not punish. The problems and sufferings we go
through ‘here’ were not caused by God .. they are of our own making. We want to
go on making mistakes, due to our innocence? Equally we go on suffering. BUT:
If we wake up (and this era, which we are lucky to live in, is one of waking up
for the souls who want to progress) and go repairing –un-doing– what we did
‘wrong’ in our innumerable sojourns on earth, only then we’ll rapidly undo
ourselves of further suffering, and in time we will be happy. Service to our
Brothers out-there is one of the answers. (Not living in a cave and meditating
in isolation; that time has gone by.)

It is not a matter of ‘hope’. If it were, then it is based on fear, which is
fed by ignorance (and by many of the church fathers.) It is a matter of
‘knowing’, of research, of study and of finding one’s way through the maze of
philosophies our lives are abound with. All of these philosophies are equally
good .. if ye learn to look at the fruits their members bare, and not at their
appearance.
Dead is not DEAD ..
but it takes a bit of time and devotion to delve into the matter.
