  Subject: CS>low basal temp

Has anyone ever noticed any change in temperature after consuming CS ?

How about Herxheimer reactions? I failed to notice any "herx" for several
years with HVAC CS ...
but finally "enjoyed" a major herx with a LVAC CS.

Many factors contribute to low basal temperature ... including:

Estrogen dominance ... xenobiotics (xeno-estrogens ... petrochemicals that
mimic estrogen). Basically, estrogens and xenobiotics can imitate thyroxine
somewhat ... they are able to block the thyroxine receptor. If this occurs, a
blood test could be useless. For instance, I once had a client who gained 80
lbs in 2 years. She visited her MD, thinking it was her thyroid. She
exercised several times weekly at a workout center. She was highly
disciplined, was not overeating or consuming overtly nasty foods.
Her physician reported that her thyroid was fine, based on lab tests. She
wanted a 2nd opinion ... was referred to an endocrinologist.
After $800 out of pocket expenses (1989 USD) ... the "Endoc" proclaimed her
thyroid "fine" ....
One day an associate mentioned that this woman had not lost an inch in 2
months ... she was following a natural fat reduction protocol that was quite
popular and successful for us. I agreed to speak with her. Turns out that
this woman followed the program, but she failed to check her basal temperature.
Her sister lost 10 to 12lbs in 2 months ... her office mates all enjoyed
success. When I inquired about her "temperature," she blurted, "It's not my
thyroid!" She shared her story about the 80lb gain ... the endocrinologist
proclaiming her thyroid fit, etc.! "OK ... your thyroid is fine! ... but what
is your basal temperature? If we want to know how fast we are driving, we use
a speed-o-meter. Calories are units of heat. A therm-o-meter will measure the
rate we are burning calories."
Low temperature can be caused by a poorly functioning thyroid gland ... or
our inability to convert one type of thyroid into an activated form.
Low temperature can also be caused by poor digestion of our proteins.
Low temperature can be caused by low potassium availability.
There are many factors in addition to T-3 T-4 hormones. Pituitary and
adrenal issues. Mineral deficits or improper ratios.
Our basal temperature is taken while asleep ... or immediately upon
awakening, before getting up. As soon as we awaken, reach over and grab a
basal thermometer off
your night stand. If it is glass, shake it down before going to sleep. A
glass therm-o-meter will take 10 to 12 minutes for an accurate reading if you
insert it into the axial position.
There is some debate ... but according to Broda Barnes, MD PhD ... an optimal
basal temperature should be at or above 97.8° F. A basal temperature 0.5° F
below 97.8° F can be responsible for an annual weight gain of up to 10 lbs.
Low temperature is also common with those suffering from fibromyalgia and
chronic fatigue syndrome.
Some of the symptoms of low temperature include: lack of energy, depression,
low libido, bone spurs, dry skin, kidney stones, cardiovascular issues, weight
gain ....
The woman who gained 80 lbs in 2 years ... she came back to see me the
following day. Her temperature upon awakening that morning was 92.8° F ... a
full 5.0° F below the 97.8° F

As for the anti Armour® thyroid doctors ... I first noticed this with young
graduates from a nearby Med skew-ool. They were indoctrinated with a new dogma
that continues today. Basically, the new Rx med biz model is to introduce
products designed for lifelong use.
Armour® thyroid contains thyroxine ... but it also provided a healing action.
Armour® thyroid tissue helps to rebuild the human thyroid.
The levo-thyroxine or T-4 ... this "advancement" offered greater specificity
in contrast to the "crude" medicines of yesteryear.
These young med students had never been introduced to the concept of raw
gland tissue therapy ... so they had no clue that they were the unwitting
instrumentalities of pharmaceutical behemoths that seek to profit from human
suffering by crippling the endocrine function of humans by allowing the thyroid
to wither from irrelevance. Consuming T-4 seems to atrophy the thyroid as its
T-4 production function is now provided by Ab--tt Labs ... fostering America's
pharmaceutically induced iatrogenic diseases! I noticed that once the T-4
patent expired, they came out with a newly patented T-3 with T-4.

best regards ... and good weekend!

Yes, I run a lower than normal body temperature and for me it means thyroid.
I don't know if I've ever run a 'normal' temp. I do not know what it means
when you say 'lately'. One doesn't have a thyroid problem one minute and not
the next.

I took Levoxyl for 20 years and I had lots of problems with it including
insomnia, hand tremor and very very very dry skin. I am now taking Armour
thyroid and am 100% better.

The doctor to see would be an Endocrinologist. I have a nice one. I have
heard a rumor that some doctors will not prescribe ArmourThyroid though lord
knows why not. If the doctor had refused to give me armour Thyroid I would
have gone to a doctor who would prescribe it for me.
