Yes, have dealth with absessed teeth and I carried ground cloves with me everywhere. Pack it around the tooth and it kills the pain usually within 30 min or less.
Use a mouthwash like Cepacol with alcohol in it. Also, Hydrogen Peroxide diluted with a little water and gargle. I drank the CS internally and would spray a little in my mouth occasionally.
