Diatomaceous Earth will kill Scabies mites. Even Pool Grade DE will kill them. If this person has it all over, that's really going to be tough. Common insectide dusting powders like 5% Sevin Dust will kill them fast but may cause some reaction. Permethrin Dust will work even faster but may be very irritating. I would do those only for a very few days, then switch over to plain DE. Plain DE will get them, just slower. The treatment must go on until all eggs are hatched. The itch will last for 2-3 weeks because of detritus buried in the skin. Daddybob
