Hahahaha I'm really late to this party.

I guess I'm being frugal but also obsessively researching everything so I
try and buy things for life.

Here's what I bought recently:

1. High end hammock camping equipment (I'm trying to move away from tent
on-ground camping)
2. High end trail cooking equipment.
3. Tools that'll last beyond my lifetime - Knipex, PB Swiss, Wera
4. 100% fine Merino wool sweaters, socks
5. Cast iron cookware
6. Artisanal soap for gifts
7. Books by Harold McGee - Nose Dive, Esther Perel - Mating in captivity
8. Switching to premium raw food for my two cats.

I'm very curious about how a lot of folks are collecting perfumes, and
especially curious about Nishant Shah buying time - I think I'd like to try
buying time for myself too - but less in terms of hiring and outsourcing
and more in terms of very efficient machinery that takes away the drudgery
of mundane work.
I guess it helps to be curious and wonder about how cool good machinery,
tools and products are. Even something as simple as dish soap.

Happy holidays folks.
