I believe we may have met; that MIT astronomer bit sounds vaguely
familiar. I knew a fellow, since moved off the Vineyard, who had an
observatory on the third floor of his house. I mean, a BIG
observatory. He was doing research on low-frequency "sounds" emitted
by some odd stars. He knew every astronomer on the island and may
have introduced us.
I'll ask my wife, who knows everybody.
