A gala evening of fun, food and entertainment completely
sponsored by the Oriental Cuisines.

Essentially, the entire event is sponsored. So lets say the people who are
sponsoring can afford to donate a few lakhs, but by holding this event and
getting 5000 from everyone who comes, they end up donating much more, isn't
that good? I have no idea about the number of people attending, but just 200
would mean a donation of 10 lakhs.

Try asking the very people who would attend this event to donate 5000 a head
and you'll see why something like this is required.
