Interesting. Maybe I'm not able to get over this, but they were set free
simply because the defense for one of the brothers could argue that the DNA
could be of the other brother? Guess it pays big to be twins in Germany!
Wonder if the brother planted the evidence because they knew of this little
technicality.

Another interesting aspect of German law is that a company can never be
prosecuted, it has to be an individual. This I got from a discovery channel
feature on high speed trains. Apparently an engineering oversight in the
rail design had caused a massive accident and the company which made it went
scot free!
