All countries have attorney-client privilege, though it is in the form of
"soft law", an ethical norm to be enforced by an organization comprising the
lawyer's peers - The Bar Council of India in our case. In any event, I
would be telling you about hearings at the Supreme Court. Therefore there is
no issue of breaching any sort of attorney-client privilege because the
proceedings are public.

As to the example you gave, I dont see any issue of breach because the
communication has not originated from me and i received it in ordinary
course/fair use. If I had a client on the list, I would politely request
them to shut their pie hole. I would do the same on that limited issue. It's
possible though I've misunderstood your example, if so please clarify and
I'd be happy to respond.
