Its not just women, men also have been attacked.. I happened to be a victim of one such on Thursday night.. I was beaten up, told that I was a Muslim, A North Indian, and I have come and spoilt the culture of the city.. the irony is that I was born in this city, brought up in this city and have never left this city.. The second strange fact being, I read and write in Kannada which is our language here.. I was criticised for wearing Western influenced clothes.. My car took some thrashing.. It was a very bad scene there that night.. One that I will never be able to forget..
