Sorry.

You don't even need to believe in god to be a Hindu. Accepting that god exists 
is a form of centralization that is restrictive. You can be Hindu and 
atheist, or even anti-theist.

It is only if one is hooked on to the idea that there is a "god" and 
that "god" is THE greatest that one starts competing and comparing with other 
gods and being concerned about a "god who cannot be improved upon". How 
naively theist.
